Testimonials

“We both listened to a lot of church musicians before making a final decision. But from the moment we heard Marina, we were both enchanted and knew that was who we wanted to play and sing at our wedding. Getting in touch with Marina wasn’t always the easiest as it seems she is a very busy lady! But on the day, everything worked out great. Listening to her play throughout the ceremony was magical……I felt we were in our own world! We received many compliments from our guests who appreciated Marina’s talents as much as we did.

You made the entire process so easy, especially for two people who are unfamiliar with church music. Thank you for all the recommendations for music that not only complimented the ceremony but also the Cathedral itself.

You have the most amazing gift in your voice which was truly incredible. It is so well complimented with the talent you have to make the harp come to life.”

Dan & Susan

“I just wanted to thank you for the music at our wedding ceremony on November 3rd. It was truly stunning, the harp and your voice were mesmerising and made the ceremony so beautiful.

Thank you so much”

Michelle

“Your harp playing and singing were absolutely beautiful and it made our service magical. We received so many comments about your music – people were saying that they wanted to applaud you but were not sure whether it was appropriate to do so in the middle of the service! You always seemed so calm which in turn had a calming effect on me.”

Charlotte & Cathal

Adding other instruments :

Marina regularly performs with other instrumentalists,  in particular a Flautist [ Flute] and/or an Organist or Pianist so if you would like to add another instrument to the sound of the Harp and the Voice for you Wedding ceremony, I will be very happy to arrange that and will advise you on the additional cost.

Music plays an important role in creating the right mood for your wedding day.

The ceremony is the starting point of your journey together and it’s the place your guests gather for the first time and where you exchange vows for a lifetime together.

Planning a church wedding ceremony can be an exciting yet daunting task. A church wedding comes with so many requirements, traditions, and expectations, including choosing music you may not be entirely familiar with.

It is my role to guide you through this process, giving you advice on all parts of the ceremony, from it’s overall structure to where your music best fits. You can listen to some of the musical selections by clicking on the links but don’t feel constricted by where the songs or pieces are suggested. Many of them will work equally well at other parts of the ceremony.  The style of the wedding music should be a refection of  your personalities and the traditions that this special day demands, be it Classical, Celtic/Irish, or Contemporary or a mixture of each.

I will spend time with you going over your choices and help you have a truly memorable day. If you have a particular favorite song or piece of music please ask baring in mind if you are getting married in a church the music should be appropriate and you will need to check your choices with the priest.
